RED HANDS (2024)

In the wake of relentless climate disregard, here is where the consequences of our actions have reshaped the United States. After the icecaps melt and sea levels surge, vast swaths of land have succumbed to the rising tides. Entire states, like the once-familiar New Florida, have been entirely submerged, forcing mass relocations and igniting a dramatic shift in the nation’s geography. This is a hauntingly plausible comic of the near future is fully conceptualized, written, and illustrated by Carleigh Ross.
RONNIE MAKES A ROCKET (2022)

Led the art department as an independent contractor for Ronnie Makes a Rocket (2022), securing funding through the VCU Undergraduate Research and Innovation Grant. Oversaw creative materials to stay within budget. Created preproduction designs of characters, costumes, and set displays. Generated animation, poster and logo designs. Responsible for the creation and procurement of film props and backdrops, including rocket design and assembly, laser guns, miniatures, and space settings.
LIVE AT THE MONSTER METRO (2020)

The comic, published by the Communication Arts Honors Studio, invites readers to join Dusty, a descendant of monster hunters, on an adventurous journey to the intriguing monster world, where unexpected twists and turns await. With a team of 14 creatives, played a multifaceted role in the making of the comic. Responsibilities spanned concept art, pencils, flats, and final colors.
